DENVER, DECEMBER 30 2024 — Slopes: Ski & Snowboard, the award-winning app for winter sports enthusiasts, has donated $70,500 to Protect Our Winters (POW) for the 2024-2025 ski season, reinforcing its commitment to protecting the outdoors for future generations. This latest contribution is part of Slope's ongoing pledge to donate 2% of its revenue to POW, having donated a total of $163,500 to date.
The funding will support POW's critical initiatives, including policy advocacy, edutional programs, and community-driven climate solutions. As climate change continues to threaten the future of winter sports, Slopes remains dedicated in supporting efforts to preserve the slopes, culture, and communities that define winter sports.
As expressed by CEO, Curtis Herbert, “As a team passionate about winter sports, we believe deeply in the importance of making sure the sport we love is here for generations to come.”
