- The Recording Screen automatically tracks your location and maps your route through the resort. It pinpoints your friends' locations and allows instant searches for lifts, runs, facilities, and more. Emergency services are just one tap away.
- The Logbook Screen displays on the map all the resorts you've visited in your lifetime. The new data card comes with nice surprises, such as new Lifetime Stats previews, Upcoming Trips, and a comprehensive history of your seasons and activities.
- The Activity Screen maps out your recordings, putting the replay button at your fingertips. This feature immerses you in a detailed recreation of your skiing or snowboarding experience.
- Finally, the Resorts Section now allows you to navigate, explore nearby resorts, and search for your favorite locations. This provides direct access to resort information, ski maps, current conditions, and snow forecasts.
Slopes is also one of the apps set to integrate Apple Intelligence and other iOS 18 features right from its launch. New capabilities will include:
- Enhanced Siri Shortcuts for controlling recording via voice or Control Center
- Dark mode and tinted app icon support
- Apple Watch improvements including double-tap gestures and Smart Stack widgets
The fresh new look in Slopes will be available on September 16 for iPhone and Apple Watch, coinciding with the iOS 18 release.
