PRESS NOTES - Slopes is fully embracing iOS 26’s brand-new Liquid Glass design, bringing a fresh and immersive look to the skiing and snowboarding experience.
With this major update, every corner of Slopes' interface has been reimagined to feel lighter, more fluid, and deeply connected with the mountain, including:
- Liquid Glass Visuals: The main ride card and on-screen controls, along with AR views, now feature Apple’s new glass elements — creating an adaptive, elegant experience that lets the map and mountain visuals shine through.
- Fresh Identity: A redesigned app icon that reflects the clean, dynamic aesthetic of iOS 26.
- Refined Watch Experience: A redesigned Watch start screen streamlines getting into a run, while new configurable Watch widgets let users track conditions at multiple resorts at a glance.
- Slopes location-based widgets will show up in the Smart Stack at supported ski resorts to prompt recording.
And a First-of-its-kind Update
With Apple’s new Health workout API, Slopes integrates with AirPods Pro 3 Live Heart Rate Monitoring from the get-go, bringing advanced fitness monitoring to skiers and snowboarders. Slopes is one of the very first apps to tap into Apple’s newest workout API and wearable sensor technology, bringing a whole new dimension to on-mountain performance tracking. Slopes’ new design and features will be available on September 15 for iPhone and Apple Watch, coinciding with the iOS 26 release.
